Special status for Andhra: BJP MP from Visakhapatnam K Hari Babu resigns from party

BJP’s Andhra Pradesh unit  president and Visakhapatnam MP K Hari Babu resigned from the party on Tuesday. He sent his resignation letter to BJP national president Amit Shah. Hari Babu, however, did not specify any reason for his resignation. BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh are facing the ire of the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) over the BJP-led Centre’s refusal to deny the state special category status.
